Temple Ohav Shalom’s eight-day Hanukkah commemoration underway

At Temple Ohav Shalom in McCandless, congregants have celebrated the first two nights of Hanukkah with dinners. Ellen Sapinkopf of Pine, the congregation’s executive vice president of member services, said that while Hanukkah is typically celebrated in homes with immediate family members, this is also a time when members of the synagogue get together.
